Job: LifeMosaic Administrator

LifeMosaic produces and co-ordinates the distribution of educational resources for indigenous peoples. Projects are demand-driven, useful to a wide number of communities, and developed in partnership with communities and movements for positive social and environmental change. Resources are primarily based on community testimonies; present complex issues in an accessible and engaging way; and support indigenous peoples right to free, prior and informed consent.

LifeMosaic is looking for an administrator initially on a one year contract, with a possibility of extension. Based in Bogor

 

Work to include:

·      Financial record keeping, project grant management and financial reporting.

·      Staff advances, expenses, filing, preparation of budgets, facilitate external financial evaluations.

·      Logistics support for organising film launches, field trips, workshops, international travel and events.

·      Ensure that films are sent out across Indonesia and internationally, and keep records of this;

·      Manage duplication or replication of films;

·      Manage web-site development and updates as well as generating and identifying content (web design skills not required)

·      Develop and maintain a contact database

·      Gather information for evaluations

·      Internet-based research into various topics

 

Essential Experience and Skills

Education: Minimum D3 or S1 in a relevant subject.

Excellent writing and communication skills, in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Committed to LifeMosaic's work and values.

Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant field.

Excellent computer skills.

Proven internet-based research skills.

Ability to work with a long-distance team.

Book-keeping, project grant-management experience.

Self-motivated, independent, flexible and able to work under pressure.

Good analytical and problem solving skills.

An impeccable record of honesty and probity.

 

Desirable

Familiar with NGO environment.

Knowledge of database software.

Familiarity with a wide-range of web-based networks and applications.
