Egypt's farming and tourism sectors could be hurt as climate change takes its toll on the country, fuelling food security concerns in what is already the world's largest wheat importer, an environment official said.Climate change in Egypt threatens to cut key agricultural crops, force millions to migrate, flood or alter tourism destinations, and dramatically cut water supplies, head of the climate change unit of the environmental affairs agency said.

Indonesia Desak Komitmen Kedua Penurunan Emisi Karbon

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia mendesak kepada negara-negara maju anggota Badan Dunia untuk Perubahan Iklim (UNFCCC) untuk membuat komitmen kedua pengurangan emisi gas rumah kaca pasca komitmen pertama dari Protokol Kyoto yang berakhir 2012.
Hal tersebut dinyatakan Ketua Delegasi Republik Indonesia pada Bonn Climate Change, Rachmat Witoelar, dalam Sidang Pleno Ad-Hoc Working Group on Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP) di Bonn, Jerman, Selasa.
