JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Setelah naik rata-rata 10 persen tahun ini, tahun 2011 pemerintah mengusulkan tarif dasar listrik kembali naik, yakni 15 persen. Usul ini bagian dari rencana menurunkan subsidi listrik secara bertahap, yaitu dari Rp 55,1 triliun pada 2010 menjadi Rp 41 triliun pada 2011.
Menteri Keuangan Agus Martowardojo mengharapkan kenaikan tarif dasar listrik (TDL) itu bisa diterapkan mulai awal 2011.

A carbon accounting technique aimed at saving tropical forests has passed a key hurdle, strengthening chances it could underpin development of a potential multi-billion dollar market for forest carbon offsets.U.S. firm Terra Global Capital said the method had passed the first of two formal audits the benchmark Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS) requires.
