The Climate Project is delighted to offer you the opportunity to apply for The Climate Project Asia - Pacific Summit to be held in Denpasar, Indonesia from January 8 - 10, 2011.

The Summit will provide participants the chance to receive training from former US Vice President and Nobel Laureate The Hon Al Gore on his most recent material drawn from his new book Our Choice, to hear from an informative, inspiring and diverse group of speakers on science, political landscape, solutions and skills training - and of course the wonderful opportunity to connect with other committed people doing amazing things from around the region.

As The Climate Project Presenter you will join more than 3000 volunteers in 57 countries around the world and make a significant difference on  climate change issues.

 

The Climate Project Indonesia presenters have reached a range of audience at government agencies, regional governments, city governments, environmental organizations, multinational corporations, scouts organizations, creative communities, conservation foundations, real estate developers, forestry sector, community foundations, universities, schools, print and electronic media.

 

2011 will be a year of great challenge and opportunity on climate change and we need passionate, committed individuals to make that happen.

Applications close Sunday 5 December 2010.

For those who do not have access to broadband or high speed internet, a word document is available. Please email
climateproject@acfonline.org. au with 'AP Summit - Word format application' in the subject line.

Participants will receive the training and materials free of charge, but will be required to fund their own travel and accommodation expenses.
Full details will be provided to successful applicants.

Some previous experience in public speaking and presenting would be an advantage. Applicants will need knowledge of Keynote or PowerPoint programs and access to a laptop computer. Applicants MUST be willing to commit to delivering and reporting back on a minimum of 10 presentations or other related activities over the next 12 months.

We will be notifying ONLY successful candidates by email on Tuesday 7 December 2010.
