Dear friends,

One urgent request, please help to ask all your friends to
vote
we short of many votes and we only remain about 6 hours ,
please help as soon as possible, many thanks.
URGENT REQUEST:
US President Barack Obama will be answering questions on
www.youtube.com/askobama Thursday, but we have until  midnight Wednesday
night Washington DC time (9 pm California time) to vote on questions he
should answer.
REQUEST:  Please vote for the questions listed below!
INSTRUCTIONS:
a) Go here:
http://www.youtube.com/worldview#p/searchb) Look in the right hand panel for a white "search" bar right under
President Obama's picture.
c) Find the questions by posting the first few words of each question.
d) Vote by clicking the "thumbs up" sign.
e) Send this email out to all other friends who might be interested in
supporting reduced health care costs, improved public health, water
conservation, biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation
through a plant based diet.
QUESTIONS TO VOTE FOR:
1) A study finds 1/3 of US counties will face water stress by 2030, and
agriculture uses 70% of water.  Dr. David Pimentel finds it takes 2.5 times
the water to grow animal proteins vs plant proteins. Will you support
dietary change to conserve water?
2) CO2 lasts for 10's of thousands of years in our atmosphere, so to create
near term cooling we need to reduce methane, ozone and black carbon.  The
greatest single source of these is livestock.  Will you support diet change
to lower emissions?
3) Drs. Cousens, Fuhrman, Barnard, Esselstyn and Campbell have demonstrated
diabetes and cardiovascular diesase can be reversed and usually cured with a
plant based diet, but people can't afford healthy foods because subsidies
make meat and dairy cheaper.  How will you fix this?
4) The evidence is all there that our world and our people are at risk
because of livestock raising. It contributes to more than 50% of Global
Warming and it causes pollution, disease etc. When are you going to advocate
vegetarianism to save the planet?
5) Over 70% of agricultural food subsidies are for meat and dairy, while
fruits and veg get 0.37% and legumes and nuts have 1.7%.  Will you change
subsidies for better health, lower health care costs, water conservation &
lower greenhouse gas emissions?
6) The Dutch gov found a "no animal products diet" would lower climate
change mitigation costs over 80%, while a "no meat diet" would preserve 56%
of threatened biodiversity. Will u support diet change to mitigate climate
change & preserve biodiversity?
