INVITATION TO CONSULTANTS
Energy and Environment Partnership with Indonesia (EEP Indonesia) programme is funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland(MFA) and implemented in cooperation with the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia. EEP Indonesia promotes development of innovative and sustainable financing mechanisms for renewable energy (RE) services and provides funding for renewable energy related projects in the Provinces of Central Kalimantan and Riau. EEP Indonesia also facilitates capacity building to relevant government agencies and potential project developers and contributes to the development of renewable energy friendly policies in Indonesia.
Currently EEP Indonesia is looking for consultants (a team of two or three members) to facilitate the following initiative:
· Development of an Integrated Regional Energy Master Plan (MPRE) for the Province of Central Kalimantan in Indonesia.
This master plan is also referred to as a Regional Energy Plan (RUED, Rencana Umun Energi Daerah).
The consultancy and the related planning process shall be implemented in June - December 2013.
Groups of consultants, consulting companies,national or international research institutes and NGOs are requested to formulate proposals for the implementation of this consultancy and submit their proposals to the EEP Indonesia National Coordination Unit by 20 May 2013.
Participants shall be informed about the selection of the consultant by the end of May 2013.
