Undangan Untuk Hadir dalam Kegiatan Eksibisi One-stop South East Asia Youth River Tour: from Indonesia for Ecological Child’s Rights

 

Kawan-kawan semua,

 

Sungai sangat lekat dengan kehidupan kita. Namun kondisinya kian memprihatinkan. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk mengembalikan kelestarian sungai dan keanekaragaman hayatinya. Ini menjadi salah satu dasar kegiatan Eksibisi “One-stop South East Asia Youth River Tour: from Indonesia for Ecological Child’s Rights”.

 

Kegiatan ini merupakan puncak acara dari rangkaian kegiatan yang dimulai 22 Maret 2013 (bertepatan dengan Hari Air Internasional) dalam bentuk kontes esai foto bagi anak dan pemuda. Diinisiasi berbagai elemen dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia dan enam negara lain di Asia Tenggara yang tergabung dalam kampanye sungai regional “Our River Our Life/Sungai Kami Hidup Kami”, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendorong pelestarian sungai dan keanekaragaman hayati demi pemenuhan hak-hak ekologis anak dan pemuda sebagai generasi penerus bangsa.

 

Untuk itu, kami mengundang kawan-kawan sekalian untuk hadir pada Kegiatan Eksibisi One-stop South East Asia Youth River Tour: from Indonesia for Ecological Child’s Rights yang akan dilaksanakan pada :

Maaf baru sempet baca-baca milis ini lagi, mau tanya bu, apakah tawarannya masih berlaku?? kalo masih kami bersedia bu.. hanya saja untuk teknis waktu penjemputan, sabtu-mingu ini belum memungkinkan, sekiranya klo bisa di minggu dpn (week day / week end)

Saya baru terima informasi yang sekarang ini, sebelum bulan Mei 2013 - belum pernah menerimanya.
Tetang Reg.Fee - dalam penjelassan, Reg.Fee equal To RP 9,600.- apakah artinya? 
Tetapi di bawah lalu ada Reg.Fee misalnya u participant (umum) Rp 1.750.000,- (stl 31 Mei),
Jadi mana yang benar?

Coastal communities around the Pacific Rim urgently require sustainable solutions to address the mounting challenges of urban development and population growth, the over exploitation of marine resources and loss of biodiversity, coupled with the growing necessity to adapt to, and build resilience for, more frequent and intense extreme weather events and climate change induced sea-level rise.

In few places are these challenges more apparent than in the island archipelago of Indonesia, the fourth most populous country in the world centered in the biodiversity rich, but ecologically fragile Coral Triangle. Jakarta, the nation's capital is the region's largest and fastest growing metropolitan city. The plethora of urban sustainability challenges facing Jakarta were highlighted earlier this year by the floods that left numerous dead and tens of thousands homeless in a city in which over a third of the land area sits below sea level.

To address these shared challenges this APRU Symposium brings together the top academic minds from the Asia-Pacific's leading research universities to link knowledge to action through collaborative dialogue with local and regional policymakers, enterprise bodies and other key partners on sustainable solutions for the City of Jakarta, Indonesia and the region.



Venue

The first and second day of the symposium will be based at The Sultan Hotel, Jakarta. The third day of the symposium will be held at new Central library, 'Crystal of Knowledge' on the campus of the University of Indonesia in Depok, Jawa Barat. The campus encompasses a 300 hectare area comprising faculty buildings, an urban forest and wetlands. The campus is connected by bicycle paths and there are free riding of 'yellow' campus bus.

 

Program

The symposium will be opened by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. Key note speakers are Charles F. Kennel, former Associate Administrator at NASA and Director of Mission to Planet Earth, presently is on the Sustainability and Climate Change Program Committee of APRU; and Joko Widodo, the Governor of DKI Jakarta. Symposium topics are:

  • Key-note panel discussion: Marine resources, challenges in adaptation toward sustainable cities
  • Linking technology, policy and economic investment to adapt to climate change
  • Population demography, health, and climate change in coastal environment
  • Coastal, coral reefs, and small islands management in adaptation to climate change
  • Partner's perceptions in climate change adaptation program for coastal cities and marine resources
  • Parallel session: Coastal and coral reef biodiversity in response to climate change
  • Parallel session: The impacts of climate change to natural and man-made environment
  • Parallel session for graduate students: Creating Innovative solutions and breakthrough in climate change research
  • Parallel session for graduate students: Environmental movement
